I feel my tires played a large role in my being able to regain control of my truck, which was fishtailing wildly after being hit by a semi. Sure, suspension, driving skill and blind stupid luck also contributed, but if the tires hadn't handled so well... Also, best tires I have ever driven in the rain, period!

Tire Pros

Better highway fuel economy due to narrow tread width.

Tire Cons

Premature cupping on front and quicker tread wear than previous set.

Thought I would go to original factory recommended size. Mistake. Better if you go up one or two sizes due to better traction, tread wear, and looks. Tire rides better than larger ones, but no one I know has every thought a 2500 with 10 ply tires has a comfortable ride.
