Doesn't get any better than these tires. I have used these tires for plowing snow. Here in New England this year has be a real challenge and these tire have proven to be SUPERIOR.

Tire Pros

price looks good great traction great wear life

Tire Cons

hard rubber for snow IMO

all and all love the tires. I haul mail in a cargo van and I do not think I will ever buy anything else they work great. winter has not hit yet but the rubber kinda seems to soften up a little. so I expect they will do good maybe not great on ice but should be good. I would suggest the tires to any one that's only on ice once in a while.

Tire Pros

Quiet on the highway; great dry pavement; good on wet pavement.

Tire Cons

Traction/performance in mud and/or snow is VERY poor (In my opinion, they are on the verge of being dangerous); terrible on ice.

We live in rural America (40 miles to nearest town -- 18 to pavement). These tires are mounted on our pick-up ---- which spends 90% of it's time on dirt roads covered with scoria (gravel). I was slightly disappointed with their performance during fall (conditions were dry); they provided very little traction in the deeper (fresh) gravel; did very well on the hard packed dirt and shallow (old) gravel. When winter arrived, I was big time disappointed. They are virtually useless on ice and provide very little confidence in snow. Now it's spring --- and the muddy roads are giving these tires fits. Due to the lack of traction, it's alot of work to keep the pick-up on the road. If I could afford it, these tires would be replaced today!!
