The Sonata use to be a nightmare to drive during last years winter. The old tires only had around 30,000 miles on them but the car handled like the tires were bald. With these new tires the car handles great now. Snowy roads are no problem and the tires also are much quieter. I will definatly buy these tires again.

Tire Pros

Traction in rain, snow

Tire Cons

Noisier than ideal

This is our third set of these tires (others were on different cars), and they perform well under all conditions and especially well in rain and snow. They inspire confidence on wet roads and provide impressive grip in turns. The main criticism is that they are noisier than I would like. These are H-rated tires, and the V-rated versions are noisier still. The V-rated tires (used on a different car) also are firmer, but the H-rated tires on the Sonata are more comfortable. Part of the reason is that they also have an aspect ratio of 65 (as opposed to 50 on the Vs), so the taller sidewall adds more cushion. These are great tires, though, and they even have tread depth indicators in the tread: D (dry), W (wet) and S (snow). The S will disappear first, but haven't driven enough for that to happen.

Tire Pros

Handles well in all conditions very smooth ride

Tire Cons

No cons noticed yet

I would highly recommend these tires. I am in outside sales and put a lot of miles on rather quickly. These are very good tires. The jury is still out on the tread life but to date, they are wearing well.

Tire Pros

Handles good

Tire Cons

Very noisy

Bought these tires to replace the cheap factory tires on my 2013 kia optima. There are lots of road noise from these tires especially at very slow speeds such as driving through parking lots. The tires I had before were much quieter. Wont be buying any more.
