The future is here in valve stem technology. Discount Tire Direct offers TPMS
(Tire Pressure Monitoring System) valves with your Tire
and Wheel package. These sensors work with vehicles that are equipped with a "valve
mounted" TPMS. They relay the tire pressure to the driver through the vehicle's
computer in case of rapid air loss. Starting in 2007, 70% of vehicles came equipped
with TPMS valves. Vehicles made in 2008 and later (under 10,000 lbs. GVWR) come with
